I thought the writing was good, and I enjoyed the the story for the most part, especially the courtroom aspects, which I found most interesting. I did not enjoy the format (jumping around characters), and I thought the book could have been shorter. It dragged a bit at times as I found the descriptions to be lengthy and a lot of the backstory parts boring. I found myself not caring too much about any character in particular, except maybe Elizabeth towards the second half of the book.
