I read this in a day. Very easy quick read in graphic novel. But i feel like i missed so much. I started the novel before and only read 80 pages but still felt those 80 pages contained more than this entire graphic novel. I think if you want to read Octavia Butler, you read her actual novels. Not the graphic novels adapted by a white man.
