White Smoke by Tiffany D. Jackson
3.0
I love Ms. Jackson's writing. Her characters are so tangible, realistic, flawed, and relatable.
This book would be a great October read.
I've like others of her books a little more but this one does a great job giving light and truth to content often over-hyped, over-moralized, or over-social workered for middle grade/YA books.
The ending was a bit abrupt and little too "and they all lived happily ever after"-ish... it left me with more questions than answers.
Themes: family, drug abuse, change/transition, recovery, scam
