Vagabonds by Hao Jingfang

Did not finish book.
This is a beautiful book, but it is truly not a style I enjoy reading, and I am trying very hard to stop when I am done enjoying, and not force a long read for the clout. I stopped at about 40%.

This is an older style of sci fi where the narrator and the characters all take turns walking us through a Poli sci textbook. It's so much better because Jingfang is not a racist, misogynist white dude. I still just find it wearisome as a novel for enjoyment. I think it'd be great to read in classes, tho, much as we read Sophie's World for philosophy in high school!
