Ahh this one definitely was a redeeming book in the series. I think it's up there with the Demon's Bargain and I only wished that this one was longer. I loved Amada and Ronan. Their chemistry was sweet and their journey to healing was great. They had both been through rough things in their past, but I liked how their paths crossed. The spice was great in this one and I loved how magic was incorporated. I've also read Zoey Castile as Zoraida Cordova and I could immediately tell it was her. I loved the writing and the idea of family witches. This one also felt more connected to the other peculiar tastes books and I definitely enjoyed it.
