If you’re a massive Stranger Things stan like me and you need to kill time until we get a season 3 trailer then you need to read this book. Even though it has creepy AF Brenner and there’s zero sight of the Party (because they haven’t even been born) or hottie Hopper (because he’s fighting over in Vietnam) never fear! Terry’s backstory is both interesting and depressing.

You’ll learn all about who El’s dad is, how Brenner got a hold of Eleven in the first place and how Terry got into Hawkins Lab. We also get appearances from a young Kali (Eight).

We also meet a cast of characters who may or may not be significant in later seasons of the show.

But who really knows because at the time of writing this review it’s been over 500 days since season 2 and we have zero trailers.
