Hunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton

1.0

I could have done without reading this book. I was content thinking the first part ended on a happy note, with Zade and Addie living happily ever after with their guns and roses.

The first 50% of the book felt unnecessary and dragged on. My biggest question is how "Zade the great" took two and a half months to figure out where Addie was—that was honestly the most surprising thing I've ever come across. He could have used one of his illegal devices (as mentioned multiple times throughout the story) and found out where the bad guys had taken the love of his life.

Nothing about this book made sense to me, and I might have intentionally skipped a few parts. For me, this book clearly didn’t live up to the hype.
