This was such a strong addition to a series. Book one felt like it was a missing something and this book had that missing something. These characters finally felt real and I think the multiple POVs really elevated this story. Finally getting more back stories and character motivations made everything so much more smoother. I loved getting to know more about Addison (Hatta) he felt less like a love interest and more of an actual person. I also loved seeing Alice grow into her new found power. Once this book hit the ground running I was in it until the very end.
