Colt and Hailey first meet as teens at an event their parents made them attend. They both felt something then, but years later they reconnect and have a little hook up that starts their mutual obsession and pining. 

When they end up at the same college, all bets are off and they vow to themselves that the other will be theirs. Colt was such a sweetheart and so endearing with his insecurities, but Hailey was determined to break through those insecurities and love that man through them. 

Their fake dating scheme was never fake for either of them and things become real and fast. The spice was hotter than a 5 alarm fire and I was here for the dirty talking from both of them. Hailey was a bada$$ FMC that wasn't afraid to say what she wanted and Colt ate her and her mouth up like a kid in a candy store. The spitting...oh my! Yes ma'am.
