General Comments: Pushing the boundaries of violence; it dives into elements of characters – Sherlock and John – that are briefly mentioned and introduced in Volume Two. Based loosely on ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’ and ‘A Study in Scarlet’; the illustrations push the limits, adding a new layer of depth and corruption. It demonstrates just how far the titular characters will go.
