This book deserves all the stars and I feel like I don't have the words to describe how much I loved it
This was one of my highly anticipated reads ever since it was announced and is 1000% worth the wait
I love Charlie and Nova, I love how they were always themselves and were vulnerable around each other and didn't feel like need to hide parts of themselves with each other
One of my fave micro tropes is when the tattoo artist main character gives their partner their first tattoo, and that scene was just so beautiful and I had to stop reading just to live in that moment with them for a little while
I love the banter right from start of the book, it was so fun, and I liked that they were already established friends
The third act conflict wasn't huge and was done really well, Becs would've crushed me if it was any bigger
The epilogue was so cute I sobbed through the second half, this series has become a comfort series for me and I'm so sad that it's over (for now at least)
Also you know a books going to be good when you tear up at the dedication
- friends to friends with benefits to lovers
- small town
- sneaking around / secret relationship
- the best banter
- she gives him his first tattoo
Thank you to Pan Macmillan and NetGalley for the ARC - all opinions are my own
