This was a very nice read, especially for black history month!

I liked that it wasn’t a very dramatic book but rather dealt with the strong problem of performance activism in our society. The characters weren’t one-dimensional and their flaws were portrayed in a very realistic way!

A great book to read in these modern times! :)
