After finishing this, I can confirm that The Chaos Walking trilogy is three of the best books I've ever read and this final book was perfection with no misses. Patrick Ness took me on a journey and I am willing and ready for him to take me on any other journey he wants.

Todd was a wonderful protagonist with impressive character development and a crude charm that would endear any reader. Mayor Prentiss was a fantastic villain; layered and complicated and so damn formidable, he would practically triple the stakes with the minimum of actions.

I loved what Mr. Ness did with the Spackle and how he characterised The Land and The Sky. He brought so much life to the story with their POV and much more understanding to the reader about them and it was beautiful. Another thing of beauty was the tender love story at the center of the trilogy. It was there, it was undeniable, and it drove the story forward well.

Finally, one of my favourite things about this was how fast-paced it was. The entire trilogy flies at an insane speed and is still not short of plausible obstacles that’ll have you catching your breath.

I would give this 6 stars if I could.
