I've been waiting to write a brief review to see if the book stuck with me, and it hasn't. Really a 3.5 rating though. Lovely writing, but somehow it didn't hook me and it was a bit of a slog to get to the end. I loved the chalk downland walks, and the writing, but the ones in different countries, or the ones which were actually in a boat haven't stayed with me at all.
