Champagne and French Kisses by Elsie Woods
4.0
The French Kisses series by Elsie Woods has 3 parts so far: Book 1 - Falling for French Kisses, Book 2 - Enemies to French Kisses and this story Champagne and French Kisses is Book 3. It evolves around a group of Texan friends who live in Paris. This third addition is all about Gina.
Gina is about to give up and go back to Texas. Somehow jobs don't land right and she feels guilty her friends have to aid her. When they dare her to talk to the cutie measuring the Arc de Triomphe, he mistakes her for his new social media manager. Needing the job badly and intrigued by the thrill-seeking billionaire, she plays along, but as she gets to know Benoit and falls for him, she knows she has to tell him rather fast.
Elsie's stories are always cute and funny, and this one is as cute as the two French Kisses books before this one. I really love how they both stay real and that there are different layers to discover. Benoit is not your typical billionaire. He knows there is something going on. The woman he grows fond of pretty fast, does not match with the resume, but he seems fine by training her himself. He has a painful past that has him haunted. Gina is real and honest, even though she was not fair about not being his appointment, she doesn't lie about ability or things she doesn't want to do.
Ofcourse you can see from a mile coming what the outcome will be, but Elsie has a very funny and sweet way of telling the tale and I really enjoyed it tremendously.
