I wasn’t always sure I’d rate this 4 stars during my reading but the ending was really something and kept me riveted to the pages !!
I guess it had a little bit too much of flirting for me to really 100% enjoy it, I definitely wouldn’t call it a romantasy either though it would be a great book for fans of romantasy wanting a little bit more fantasy than romance. Jenn Lyons crafted a really good queer-normative world with a system of rings to indicate things about one self like sexual orientation and preferences, marital status and such.
The dragons were amazing, I really loved how well they were thought of, with different powers and affinity and with the way the relationship between dragons and their riders develops.
I wish we’d see the main character use her powers more !
