Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

5.0

Loved Bloodlines the second time around. Read it again so that I'm all ready for The Golden Lily (which comes out this Tuesday!!!).

I really enjoy Sydney as a narrator. She's relatable, surprisingly funny, and cute with not knowing about social things. Adrian was Adrian, perfect as always (my love for you will never fade!). I always love his lines. My heart was breaking for him on that last line, I mean I think we could have prolonged that meeting till the end of the second book. Give my baby some time to cope. Eddie was protective and amazing as always too, I hope he gets to lighten up a bit in the next book though. He's gone through too much and I think he needs some laughter and fun in his life. The first time I ready Bloodlines Jill annoyed me. I mean, what the heck, lets have everyone fall in love and worship her. Rose said she'd be a look and break hearts someday but I would have liked to read more about her change to getting there. Basically it was like in VA she was awkward and in BL she's awkward but now irresistible. My favorite new character had to be Trey. I really hope we get more of him. I want to know what's up with his tattoo seeming he got all nervous at the end when Sydney mentioned it. I have my theories.

I can't wait to see where Richelle takes these characters next!
