I enjoyed the hell out of this book.Having  Shaw and Eden both be basically all in from chapter two was a surprising choice, as was a complete lack of major angst, but it works here beautifully. I never felt like the story was missing anything or was boring me, like I have with similar books focusing exclusively on the romance plot. Pacing was good, writing was great, and the overall feel good nature of the book had earned it a permanent spot on my Comfort Rereads shelf. I love that Eden is awkward af and that Shaw has no shame about feeling what he feels. I love how supportive they are of each other and just how healthy the relationship feels.

Also the cute. I spent a solid 50% of this book kicking my legs and squealing at my Kindle over these two literal puppies. I love them.

I will say I would have liked a longer, more in-depth epilogue rather than the handful of short ones I got instead, but honestly that’s just personal preference. This book was perfection.
