ok so Valley of the Dolls is one of my fav books of all time, BUT, this book didn’t really do it for me. i didn’t like the time switch and felt it was confusing at times when characters referenced their pasts. some of the plot twists were engaging but it didn’t have the same spark as VotD. i was captivated reading it, but that’s probably only because of Susann’s work on VotD.
