Loveless by Alice Oseman

I’ve been so excited about this book because of the aro/ace representation and it was everything I wanted/needed and more. Honestly I’m jealous I didn’t have this book when I was younger..

I’m not a huge fan of YA contemporary but I still really enjoyed this, probably largely because it takes place in college (uni) rather than high school (forget what they call it in the UK).

It’s a really great story about sexuality, friendship and all kinds of love. Not only did I love and relate to the main character I also loved all the other characters and their relationships. And it made me laugh many times.

I think the only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the amount of pop culture references. But it wasn’t an overwhelming amount and I get that it makes sense that people that age would talk about those things.
