What a delightful little book! A simple, wistful tale awash with all manner of fairies and fairy motifs, told in a lyrical, flowing prose rich with elegant metaphors and striking imagery. The story of a grieving mother who journeys through the many realms of dreams to save her daughter. This was an interesting take on Hades and Persephone, a modern, quirky fairy tale, and the illustrations are simply marvellous!
