I went into this book expecting a lighthearted romance. I don’t know why… maybe the cover? Instead, I found a story of a young woman who has tried to escape her childhood by hiding away in books and her bookstore, and her slow emergence from this shell. This story was filled with revelations, twists, and heartbreak, but I somehow came out the other end feeling warmer. And now I need to sleep because it’s after 1am and I have cried many tears.
