It's always crazy to think I've been reading an author's books for long enough that child characters I've met in the beginning of that journey are now adults and getting their own story! Enter Lewis and Callie. I loved these two as children, and seeing how they've flourished and grown was such a great experience. Lewis and Callie grow up together, and although it doesn't quite work out with each other, it is clearly a right person, wrong time instance. As per usual, I loved getting swept up in the Scottish Highlands. This story was a whirlwind of emotions. I loved the story between these two people who had ups and downs but were finally able to find each other in the end. It wasn't an easy road and things weren't perfect but they were perfect for each other. Throw in some suspense, and this book has everything a good Samantha Young book has! Another amazing addition to this series, and I can't wait for the next one!
