This was honestly a very cute story. The main character, Rubin, is pretty annoying as a character for the most part. But by the end, you get to see why he acts in such an irritating way. It doesn't make him any less irritating, but at least it's something that makes sense. This works as a cute stand-alone graphic novel, but I'm perplexed how they will turn this into a series. The way it ends makes it appear to be the end of the story. I doubt I'll seek out a second volume, cause while this was pretty cute, it didn't do much for me. The art, as always with this author, was wonderful.
