I mean…I wish there was more history? That’s what the book is supposed to be about but it’s definitely mostly modern views of why people don’t have/don’t want to have children. Also low key for a book that’s supposed to be about people not having kids, it’s kind of a lot about people having kids!! Also, I do feel like the author has some unresolved guilt. There’s nothing wrong with not having kids just because you don’t want to, without any concrete reasons other than that, and that isn’t really touched on. This is more so about the reasons why/why not, which I think most of us already know.
