The Eat-Clean Diet Cookbook 2: Over 150 Brand New Great-Tasting Recipes That Keep You Lean! by Tosca Reno

3.0

This isn't a bad cookbook. Tosca Reno seems a bit fond of herself. There are pictures of herself all over every book of hers I've looked through. This one has a lot of pictures of female family members too. I get it. They're fit and healthy. but after awhile, who cares? I'd rather look at food. :D
There's some interesting recipes in here. A lot of them sound good, but when you really read them, they turn out to seem to be a lot of work to make. Complicated. Most of her recipes not being vegan or gluten free means that my selections from her recipes are limited as well. But I got a few good ones copied down from it, like Sweet Potato Custard with Spiced Walnut Clusters.
I do appreciate her healthier "clean"er approach to food. I'd recommend this to omnivores interested in healthier, cleaner eating. Who aren't looking for 5 minute meals. and don't mind a lot of personal pictures, of course.
