The Hospital Suite by John Porcellino

3.0

John Porcellino outlines a period of intense, complex health and mental health challenges with candor and dark humour. While I'm glad he eventually found treatments that worked for him (at least temporarily), and I get why someone with those complex health issues would turn to more pseudoscientific remedies, I did feel like the book bordered on promoting those remedies at times, or at least didn't offer caveats about how people should do their own research before shelling out for blood tests and supplements.
