Love, Hate & Other Filters by Samira Ahmed
Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.
I just can't. I'm not a fan of how Maya's views on religion and her family are representing such a tired basic narrative of a girl who isn't just disconnected from her culture/religion but actively looks down on it. (Maybe this changes as the book goes on). Also, I didn't get to the whole terrorist part yet but I didn't really want to read about Islamophobia at the time in my life, it's a bit triggering. I might revisit this later on, but the romantic sub-plots that are being teased are annoying me.
