Escaping from Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco

4.0

**4.5 stars**

First thing's first - So the only reason I didn't give this book five stars was because (in my opinion), the action started WAY too quickly. I mean, in the first chapter, the first murder had already occured. That is the only problem I had with this book.

This next part includes a bit of a spoiler of the first book in this series.
Besides that, a once again, excellent journey by Kerri Maniscalco. It was magical (wink, wink). Thomas Creswell was his forever-charming self (still my favorite character) and Miss Wadsworth is coping with her brother's murdering better (aka Jack the Ripper). I really loved the tension between the two of them with Ayden (and if you've read the book, you know who that TRULY is).
