Notes on an Execution” by Danya Kukafka was a mesmerising read that will linger with me for a long time. Her storytelling is haunting and immersive, allowing us to step inside the mind of Ansel Packer, a convicted murderer on death row. What captivated me most was her approach to exploring his psyche, not just through his perspective but also through the lives of the women impacted by his actions.

Overall, this book is as much a philosophical exploration as it is a thriller and it has left a lasting impression, I thoroughly enjoyed every thought-provoking moment.
