Woman, Life, Freedom by Marjane Satrapi
dark
informative
reflective
medium-paced
I'm not rating this one, as given the gravity and importance of the subject matter, it feels to me inappropriate.
Despite my reservations - there were numerous spelling and grammatical issues (possibly due to its translation from the original French into English), as well as the sheer volume of information imparted (lots of names and dates) - this is an absolutely vital read for anyone wanting to know more about the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement and the context of its rise.

Graphic: Death, Torture, Violence, Police brutality, Kidnapping, Grief, Mass/school shootings, Religious bigotry, Medical trauma, Murder, and War
Moderate: Antisemitism and Islamophobia
