Another GREAT Nymph Keepers book!

This one moves a LOT slower than the first one, so reading through it definitely took a lot longer.

The characters have all sorts of parted ways and we get to follow Forest, Jay, Aleah, and Silic through their journey each with individual goals and complicated dilemmas. Every arc of their story was interesting with none of their chapters dragging, which kept me deeply invested in the four of them.

I feel like this definitely read like a middle book in a series though, while there was some trial and outcome, it seemed to lack a big climax since you could feel it all building knowing that we won't see the outcome of everything in this book, but I still anticipate the next one.

Lastly, I think the very last 2 chapters should have been swapped, which would have made the reveal a bigger surprise and build the stakes and anticipation for the next book even more.

Overall I love this series and I continue to scream for a print release.
