The September House by Carissa Orlando

4.0

This was pretty dang cool, though Margaret was occasionally a difficult character for me to get behind. I'm glad she had one line in the sand but, man, was it also rough as hell that there was only one. I also hated her strategy for dealing with both the cops and Katherine because it was epically bad strategy so it was hard to not want her to just do anything else.

I did appreciate that her unique psychology and life experience is what made her so singularly able to live in the Vale house just as Hal's was the exact wrong kind and why it made it so impossible for him. Kudos on that front!
