i read this for ECBC and it was definitely interesting and had some enjoyable moments. in terms of execution i didn’t love the reading experience - perhaps would have enjoyed it more if i had studied it closer. the poem was beautiful. the conversations surrounding it and nabokov using it to comment on authorial intent, applying that to his own life - super interesting. but as a read, very boring at times and challenging to chip away at.
