This story is like a mish-mash between Secrets of the Silent Witch (except more focus on romance) and Bride of the Barrier Master (except the love interest isn't quite as much as a boundary-violating jerk). It's got a female lead who's been unfairly traumatized by her family and circumstances and is just trying to find a little bit of love in a world that has been quite cruel to her.
Brigitte gets dumped by the prince, who himself is a bit of a mysterious character I'm sure we'll find more about later, and in her anger starts to turn over a new leaf and change some aspects about herself that she was doing simply to get others to like her. Except, those actions have colored her reputation and it's going to be a long way up from the bottom for Brigitte. In comes Yuri, an "Ice Blade" from a prestigious family, though not as elite as the royal family. He and Brigitte form a sort of competitive back and forth, bonding over their seclusion from most other students due to misunderstandings stemming from their not-so-friendly personalities.
I like how the world and magic work, and while it's a bit limited being only from Brigitte's point of view (though sometimes we get her main attendant's) and existing solely within the school grounds for the most part. I'm keen to see where the relationships go, not just between Brigitte and Yuri, but also Brigitte's pending platonic relationships with her classmates and others around her. Really, I just want to see her get her happiness after being cursed with such a horrific family.
