Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert
5.0
I loved it! The writing in this book is gorgeous. Herbert delivers a masterpiece that smells of poetry, philosophy, Shakespeare, Poe, and a practiced use of psychedelics - yet it is surprisingly easy to absorb. The flavor of Islam and the Arab world is a wonderful touch that is elegantly woven into the world building, which was easy to understand without taking any time to explain it in detail to the reader, somehow. I found this totally satisfying and unique.
