I wanted to pick this book up from the moment I read the mysterious, and possibly heartbreaking, synopsis. I was not disappointed with what I found in the pages of this novel. The characters come to life and are full of emotion as they are introduced and followed throughout the story. I was hooked from page 1. I enjoyed following Destiny as her character transforms from a solitary woman to a woman allowing herself to hope. This novel is so full of emotional ups and downs and speaks volumes on the power of forgiveness and trust. The author does a tremendous job of pulling the reader into the fray of how life and people in it can both hurt and heal. This is a book I will recommend time and again. I am so glad I picked this up!
