Absolute stunner of a book. I want to watch the movie but knew I really needed to read the book first. And I am so glad I did. This is probably the best read of this year.
The story is kind slow paced, but beautifully written. The descriptions of the marches, animals, shells, feather really stand out and prove that Delia Owens is a real subject expert.
The story itself was brilliant - following Kya from such a young age and how she overcame so much in her life, you can't not admire the person.
Loved it - this is a keeper for me and I will recommend this to anyone that will listen.
