Thank you to NetGalley, William Morrow Paperbacks, & HarperCollins for the opportunity to read and review this book before it's publication date! This in no way affected my review, opinions are my own.
I. Loved. This. Story.
I'm sure opportunities for critiques exist for Our Darkest Night, but I couldn't tell you what they are. I genuinely loved every character (and although I didn't love the characters themselves, I loved how well even the awful characters were written). The plot was excellent. The relationships between the characters, the way they changed and evolved. Just. Yes. (I particularly loved the relationship between Nina and Nico, and felt it to be so compelling and so believable.)
Also, even though I loved the plot and I loved the entire story, I don't have a lot to say about it here other than just that - I loved it. If you like a character driven novel with a good plot to anchor it, this is the book.
I have read one other book by Robson, Somewhere in France, and loved that one too. Maybe it's time to just go ahead and read the rest of her books!
Definitely recommend this book, although you might want to keep the tissues handy. I found myself tearing up way more than I expected! (I'm telling y'all, These. Relationships.)
