The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon

5.0

Fanon on the nationalist bourgeois who has his eye on the main chance after liberation: "His honesty, which is his soul's true bent, crumbles away little by little." His soul's true bent! That's so brilliant (of Fanon). Any cynic could imagine a rat bastard who never meant a word of it. Fanon has an eye for the tragic instead.

That's hardly a review of the whole book, though.
