Bruce by Peter Ames Carlin

4.0

This book was a fascinating look at one of my favorite performers, Bruce Springsteen. It takes you from his life as a child, up through his latest album the Wrecking Ball. I learned about his life, his hard times, his music and his writing. I kind of see him as a modern day Walt Whitman, with instruments and amps. The book also filled in many of my gaps in Bruce's music. It was nice to have a Spotify subscription so I could listen to the songs and albums the author was talking about. Give it a try.
