Shooting Martha by David Thewlis

4.0

David Thewlis delivers a really good Hitchcockian esque love letter to his industry with a well crafted atmosphere and solid portrayals of characters set against a compelling mystery that I devoured. The book is fast paced, benefits from someone with clear experience and strong sensibility of what works and what doesn't, and the effective portrayal of a mind pushed into madness benefits from Thewlis' quick, snappy dialogue and solid energy.
