”Books should be shared with everyone who wants to open their minds and hearts to them. Keeping them, keeping knowledge, from people who needed it, that was the real crime.”
i’m so glad i made the right choice to pick up this book. mind you, this book hit my radar because of a negative review on twitter. me being me, of course i was intrigued enough to see if my opinion would be the same. spoiler: it’s not!
i hate that i suck at writing reviews for books i actually love but trust me when i say i enjoyed this book so much. it’s cozy, yet so real and meaningful. it’s about finding your place in the world, friendship, the importance of community, and striving to make capitalists kiss your ass. also, i never thought i would be so attached to a spider plant and a succulent, but here i am.
