It was good. But not good enough. The middle section really inhibited me from liking Demon all that much, as he became very girl and popularity obsessed all of a sudden, sexualising every female person in his life (even his social worker and teachers) to a degree that was totally unnecessary, as well as being extremely judgemental of his goth gay friend while trying to convince us that he wasn't being judgemental. Several times I found myself thinking 'How the hell is this written by a woman?' And I am still perplexed. Overall, I did like it, but damn. That chunk (and it was long) was incredibly boring and frustrating. Enjoyed the beginning and end but that middle section.. nah.
