The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander

5.0

A necessary read for anyone hoping to understand just a glimpse into racism in the USA. I will be reflecting on the contents of this book for years to come. It is factual and evidence based and takes a good hard look at the corruption in both the Democratic and Republican parties. It reminds us of the necessity of humanity and empathy and change and does so with facts and history. Read this book.
