“And I’d do the math. I’d count the days and months and years until I turned thirty and I could come and get you.”
This Valentine’s Day, if you’re looking for sweet and super sexy new read, look no further than @katecanterbary’s In A Rush, which was released on Tuesday, February 4th! In A Rush is the story of Emme, a second grade teacher, and Ryan, a pro football player, who have been best friends since high school. In their senior yearbooks, they vowed that if they weren’t married by 30 then they would marry each other.
Twelve years later, they meet for dinner. Emme is newly single and in need of a revenge date to take to her friend’s wedding events. Ryan is need of image rehab for a business deal. He points out their marriage pact and proposes they marry to help solve both of their problems. What he doesn’t tell her, though, is that he’s been in love with her since high school and that he’s hoping like hell that this temporary arrangement of theirs becomes something more permanent.
Reading In A Rush will give you:
🍊 Friends-to-lovers
🏈 Marriage Pact
🍊 Grumpy vs Sunshine
🏈 Obsessed Hero
🍊 Pining
🏈 Unlucky in Love Heroine
Personally, I LOVED Emme and Ryan’s story. Not only was it gratifying to see Emme finally get the love she deserved and watch Ryan be so completely swoon-worthy, but the couple’s chemistry was smokin’ hot! 🔥
