This is the first horror I've ever picked up as it was recommended by a friend and although I was sickened in places, Chuck Palahniuk has made me feel worse. If this was a film, I wouldn't have even looked at the case. A ghost intent on revenge? No thank you! But as a book I really enjoyed it. I loved all the characters and the journey they took to escape the ghost. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I wasn't scared enough. There were some points where I wondered if it was a good idea to be reading it in bed but nothing that made me want to stop reading.
