This was a cute romance but I felt myself more invested with the food competition and rivalry between the two families than the actual romance. I don’t think it was my own doing but I think the author made their romance take the back seat. Nazeli and Vanya had some cute moments but never captured my full attention. They didn’t spend that much time together for me to be fully convinced that they were some whirlwind romance to be deeply invested in.
