I have had to sit with this book to decide what to say for this review. All over the internet I saw high praise for this book, and I was apprehensive about reading it because of all the hype. However, once I fully committed to reading it, I loved it. This story is engaging, mysterious, ethereal, and poignant. If you love the south, stories of overcoming, and a good mystery, you will most likely enjoy this read.
