Wow. Okay, so this is going to be a whole series review, I think, not just this book!

I devoured this book and this series. I started it today, and I finished it today!

This is so much more than "FBI agent falls for serial killer," which was how it was sold to me. This is a really in-depth story of pain, heartbreak, revenge, justice, love, and friendship. Even the covers threw me off the trail of what this story would be to me.

The characters were so intricate for such a quick series. You either loved them or loved to hate them. The MMC was a bit blind for most of the series, but in the final book, he really bloomed, and I was living for it. The FMC was such a strong woman, one that fought hard even against herself.

The side characters were just everything. I loved Jake and his relationship with the FMC. At first, I was sceptical of his involvement in it all, but as the story unravelled, I just fell in love with him.

And as for the victims, I hate to say it, but I totally don't feel bad at all for them.

That ending, though. The way I felt a punch in the guts when Logans heart was breaking... wow

This was such a beautiful story, and I'm so sad the author isn't here to see how much people are loving it.
